Sundance Moondance

Sundance Moondance. I like how that sounds. Last night we went to Sundance for a scenic chairlift ride by moonlight. Turns out it was amazing. Timp was covered in snow so it looked incredible and so did everything else since we could see it so well with the spotlight of the moon. Also, nothing like me asking the girl on a chair going down while we were ascending if her legs were cold, only to find out that she was actually wearing yellow pants. Oops. I guess the moon wasn't quite as illuminating as the sun. Second best full moon night of the year.

The weather has been amazing the last few weeks and I could not ask for anything better. The leaves are out in their fall glory and it has been beautiful. Only a few more days until I return to Utah but I'm going to miss this place.

Park City x 2

I spent the weekend in Park City. Friday night we went to the premiere of Tanner Hall's new ski movie, The Massive. I got a free t-shirt to prove it. It was projected on a big screen in the middle of Main Street so it was pretty cool. Plus, I knew they were filming some scenes out of Haines, Alaska before they even posted the location on screen. I felt really special.
On Saturday, we went up to the Canyons for a bike race. Becca and I shared a gondola on the ride up to the mountain. The race was pretty cool and the boys were so much better than the girls. Lame girls. We were planning to stay for a concert after, Rouge Wave, but we were deterred by the rain. So instead we stopped at the Banana Republic outlet store and purchased a couple things. Finally, the night was complete when we visited the Kmart store closing sale and got some real gems for real cheap. We asked if we could buy their photo booth since the store was closing, but they said no. I'm pretty sure your weekend in Haines topped mine, but the Kmart trip puts me in close second.

2 weeks, and counting

I've been away from Alaska now for 1 week. Naturally, I reminisced by looking at photos from the trip today. Here are some of the things I miss most...

Body Worlds

Where: The Leonardo
When: Sept. 15 - Jan. 11
How: I think you should go with me. It'll be a romantic and educational evening filled with blood, guts, and gore...or plastered and shaped bodies. I'll provide the tickets if you provide dinner beforehand.

Rise and Shout!

This Saturday was not near as awesome as last Saturday. It would take a lot to top our Glacier Point trip. However, it was pretty awesome. Let me paint you a picture: LaVell Edwards stadium, sold-out crowd, 85 degrees, 10th row east bleachers, BYU vs. UCLA, 59-0. What a dream! I love the Cougars. I really love the Cougars. Just thought you should know.
