VIP premiers

So I had a busy Saturday evening. I don't know if you ever got to meet Kelsey Nixon, but she is our famous friend. She is on The Next Food Network Star, a reality TV series on The Food Network that if she wins, she gets her own cooking show. We went to the VIP premier tonight. However, they didn't let us see the last 10 minutes. Then we went to Klarissa's wedding reception. She got married last weekend. Oh yes, we went camping last night at Affleck Park. Great place. And I almost bought 2 bikes today.

Mother's Day

I told you a little bit about my weekend, but I thought some pictures would add so much more. First, the arches that bind us. My niece and I visited delicate arch this weekend. Turns out it wasn't quite as magnificent as the real one. Second, I was every bit as terrible at mini golf this round as I was last time. I've lost my game and can't seem to find it. Finally, the aftermath of the jam making. We were tired from all the stirring of the pectin, kero syrup, and sugar. Definitely worth it though.

Alaska Rocks

I finally had a day off yesterday. I went sea kayaking and it was the most amazing thing I have ever done. First of all Myles and I went together and at first we were surrounded by a few dozen harbor seals who were playing with us, splashing and bumping our boats. Then as we got into deeper water we saw a whale about a mile away so we stopped rowing for a while to see if he was going to come breach or anything, we waited a while and continued paddling when he breached less than 20 feet away from our kayaks. It was so cool and he just continued to play with us getting closer and closer to our boats, it was the most amazing thing and the most scary thing at the same time having a huge whale playing around with you that could tip you over in a second.

Happy Cinco de Mayo, un día tarde. Nuestro Internet no trabajaba ayer. You need to get scuba certified. I'll add it to our list if I can figure out how. Sorry I'm such a dorky emotional girl. Hopefully you can over look my many fault which include but are not limited to: building up my emotions inside until they come out uncontrollably, loving gold fur and spray painted gold shirts (I think I wear it every wash cycle), my love of Thursday night prime time television, and my recent obsession with $1 hot fudge sundaes at McDonald's. Yes, I have to be done with this post now so I can ride my bicycle to McDonald's on 2300 E. and get one.
