We hiked Lone Peak a little over a week ago. It was awesome and very different from a lot of other hikes I've done in Utah. The hike was long and steep and the last half of it was just making your own path or following cairns (that is the name of the rock markers we couldn't think of in Moab), climbing over huge granite boulders and very sketchy exposed ledges at the very end. The very top was just big enough for the five of us to stand on together. I have a great picture of me jumping on the very top (which probably wasn't very smart but I'm still alive), but it is on someone else's camera that I haven't got yet. We were supposed to hike Nebo that day but Payson Canyon was closed due to fire. Nebo is the only peak I have left this summer.
